AGASSI REVEALS ALL IN NEW AUTOBIOGRAPHY

 


October 28 - Andre Agassi has admitted that he was not the clean cut boy his image professed by revealing that he did take drugs and even went as far as lying to the ATP to protect his career.

The admission comes to light in a new book due to be released next month which is being serialised in The Times. Entitled ‘Open’, it is autobiography and in it he states that he took crystal methamphetamine, a highly addictive drug, and lied to the authorities to escape a ban.

Former World No. 13 Andrei Pavel has officially retired from professional tennis, after competing at the BCR Open Romania in Bucharest.

"I have no regrets and am very proud of my career,” said 35-year-old Pavel, after losing to Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay.

OUDIN’S PARENTS FILE FOR DIVORCE

 

It is being reported in the media that John Oudin, Melanie’s father, has filed for a divorce from his wife, Leslie, on grounds of adultery, naming Brian de Villiers, Melanie’s coach, as the third party.

In a sworn statement made on August 10, John Oudin alleged that his wife had been unfaithful with De Villiers.

How sad for Melanie to have this come out now, marring her remarkable achievements at this years US Open.
